I have been teaching high school religion in two Lutheran high schools for twenty-four years.  During that time, I have been invited to speak in seventeen states to speak on various topics to youth and youth workers.  Everywhere I go, people have the same basic questions.  I have found that young people want to study the Bible; but they also want to know that it is true.  What’s more, they want to know how to apply it their lives.  So back home at Milwaukee Lutheran High School, I start every class with the same approach: are there any questions that we should answer?  I found that by explaining why Christianity is true and the Bible is dependable, students grow stronger in their faith.  By the power of the Holy Spirit, I pray that all who read this blog will find answers in Jesus Christ, who is the Way and the Truth and the Life (John 14:6).
